Mermaid Summer is a professional mermaid with 3 years of experience. She spends her time both in Florida and the Northern Virginia areas working for Disney and teaching swimming lessons. Mermaid Summer has a degree in Theater Education, and 10 years of experience working with children in various environments. She is currently working on a second degree in marine biology to continue sharing her love of the ocean with others. She loves anything to do with the water and has a soft spot for our world’s natural springs. Mermaid Summer is a fun-loving mermaid who adores talking with children about their favorite water activities and animals. Conservation and environmentalism are also important to Mermaid Summer, so much so that she volunteers as a touch tank educator at The Florida Aquarium in Tampa. She always makes an effort to educate our communities on how to save our seas.
